This policy covers the CDL Prep mobile app for iOS and Android, published by M4 Infotech.
Your study progress stays on your phone. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number, and there is no account to create. The data that leaves the device is what advertising, analytics, and payment systems need in order to show ads, measure how the app is used, and process a purchase.
Everything you do in the app is stored locally, in the app's own storage:
Detailed study records are not uploaded to our servers. Deleting the app deletes the local store permanently and irreversibly — there is no backup and we cannot restore it.
Google Analytics for Firebase (GA4) measures app usage so we can see which states and study flows work, and improve the product. It may collect a device identifier (including the advertising ID where available), app events such as starting or finishing a practice quiz, and approximate location derived from IP address. Google AdMob serves the ads in the free version. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier, approximate location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data. This is Google's processing, under Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
On iOS, we ask for tracking permission before advertising identifiers are used for personalised advertising. If you decline, you still see ads — they are simply less targeted. Declining does not remove analytics events that do not depend on that permission.
Purchasing the All Endorsements bundle removes ads entirely, and with them AdMob data collection. Analytics continues so we can measure whether the paid experience works.
Apple and Google Play process purchases. We never see or store your payment details. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase completed, which the app uses to unlock content. See Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies for their handling.

CDL Prep is intended for adults preparing for a commercial driver's license. The minimum age for a CDL is 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the app is not directed to them.
Resetting progress in the app clears your study history without uninstalling. For analytics or advertising data held by Google, use Google's tools linked above.

If this policy changes materially, the app will be updated with the new policy and the date above will change. Continued use after an update means acceptance.

Passing a practice test in this app does not qualify you for any license or endorsement.
