CDL Prep is a study aid for the written knowledge tests required for a US commercial driver's license. It is published by M4 Infotech.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the FMCSA, any state licensing agency, or any Department of Motor Vehicles. It does not issue permits or licenses, book appointments, or transmit anything to a government body.
Passing practice tests here does not guarantee passing the real examination. Requirements are set by your state and can change; your state's official handbook is the authority, and where this app and that handbook disagree, the handbook is correct. We link it on every question for that reason.
Questions are written from the official state and FMCSA handbooks, and every answer cites the section it came from. We check those citations against the ingested handbook text mechanically before each release. Even so, handbooks are revised and errors are possible — report anything that looks wrong to support@m4infotech.com.
The General Knowledge bank is free in full. Endorsement banks are unlocked by one-time in-app purchase — there is no subscription, no trial and no recurring charge. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, are tied to your store account, and can be restored on a new device from the unlock screen.
Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment, under its policy, not by us. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play: play.google.com refund request.
The question bank, explanations and study material are the copyrighted work of M4 Infotech. You may use them to study. You may not scrape, redistribute, resell or republish them, in whole or in part, including as training data for a commercial product.
The underlying handbooks are public documents published by their respective agencies and remain theirs.
CDL Prep is provided as-is, as a study aid. To the fullest extent permitted by law, M4 Infotech is not liable for examination outcomes, licensing decisions, costs incurred, or any consequence of relying on the app in place of your state's official handbook.
